Life is too short -- Enjoy every minute!

Quesnel Wordspinners

The Quesnel Wordspinners is our local writers group we have produced since the group formed in 1981 now Eleven Anthologies combining the works of the numerous members over the years.  Including the one released this month October 2010.

Fragments of Life is our latest Anthology and is For Sale at the Museum, the Quesnel Art Gallery and in the Heritage Building on the corner of Carson Avenue and Highway 97, locally known as Cariboo Keepsakes.  The Store is run by Quesnel Crafters Society and has a wonderful variety of all things crafted.

To quote Allana Coderre from the forward of this new book.  "I have found a place where others enjoyed words as much as I did.  I no longer feel defensive about my work. In fact, I am eager to write and share.  The most exiting thing is that I will now have some of my writing published in the group's new collection!" This feeling has been expressed by many other members in the past including me.  Get a copy, it is a pleasant read.

"FOOTSTEPS OF THE PAST"  was geared towards the 150th Anniversary of the province of British Columbia, Canada and the 50th Anniversary of Barkerville Historic Town and actually includes a couple of excerpts from the Quesnel Advertiser circa November 1955.
